About SweepstakeReport

A small ranking magazine for a specific legal object: a prize given by chance that you can enter without paying.

What we cover

Mobile sweepstakes apps with a genuine no-purchase / free alternate method of entry. Currently five ranked apps, plus seven apps we reviewed and declined to rank, each with a written note on the reviewed-not-ranked page. If we cannot confirm NPN from a public rules page or an equivalent official source we opened, it does not ship.

Scope change, August 31, 2026: the site launched the same day as a mixed ranking of fifteen listings, fourteen of them legacy programs (magazine envelopes, house giveaways, loyalty drawings). After a census of the app category, we re-scoped the ranking to sweepstakes apps exclusively and reviewed every plausible candidate the census surfaced. The legacy research was fact-checked and remains published, frozen as researched, on the legacy programs page; the pivot note explains the decision.

NPN policy

No purchase necessary. A purchase does not improve odds. Void where prohibited. 18+ — some promotions are 21+. Official rules of each sponsor control. This site is not a sponsor, administrator, or partner of any listed promotion.

We exclude gold-coin “sweepstakes casinos” and any product that requires buying coins, tickets, or merchandise to enter: Chumba, Pulsz, McLuck, Stake.us, Fortune Coins, LuckyLand, and similar. We also exclude apps that sell entries outright or sell coins that convert into entries in the same drawings free players enter, no matter what their rules claim about purchases not helping; apps whose official rules are unreachable on any live surface; and platforms that host third-party promotions without being the sponsor of record. Every named exclusion is written up with its evidence on the reviewed-not-ranked page.

We do not fabricate statistics, prize dollar amounts, user counts, quotes, or ratings. App Store ratings of five people are not social proof. If a prize figure is not in a source we opened, we omit it.

Letter grades

Alongside the 100-point editorial score, every listing carries a letter grade (A+ through F). Grades are researched from public sources as of August 31, 2026. A documented regulatory history (an FTC order, an attorneys-general settlement) caps the letter grade regardless of the 100-point total. They describe operator credibility and how easy the no-purchase path is — not a prediction of your odds.

A+ / A / A−
Established operator, easy no-purchase entry, credible prizes, clean public record.
B+ / B / B−
Legitimate NPN, but smaller prizes, seasonal/not always open, or extra friction (app, TV, login).
C+ / C / C−
Still a real NPN program, but a documented regulatory or dark-pattern history, or heavy purchase-adjacent marketing.
D / F
We do not list those (fake, illegal, or purchase-required).

Methodology

We score only promotions that publish a genuine no-purchase / free alternate method of entry. Each score is editorial, not a poll. We do not invent dollar amounts, user counts, or star ratings. If a public source is thin, the score falls.

Scores are editorial judgments on a 100-point scale:

Ties on the 100-point total are broken by free-entry purity, then rules transparency. An app that is listed but non-functional can still rank if its governing rules are public; its status is labeled unavailable and its entry-experience score reflects reality. Chance Infinite is scored as a first-class entry: it leads the ranked field on free-entry purity and rules transparency, and it does not lead on prize credibility or operator track record, because the public winner record, as of August 31, 2026, shows two $100 prizes and the company is new. Its letter grade is A− for the same reason.

Responsible play

Sweepstakes are chance. Odds depend on eligible entries. Do not pay anyone to collect a prize. Do not give a gift-card code to a “prize officer.” If an 18+ simulated-gambling game loop stops being a way to earn a free ticket and starts being the reason you open the app, close it. Help resources in the U.S. include the National Council on Problem Gambling (ncpgambling.org) and 1-800-GAMBLER.

Ownership

SweepstakeReport is published by Luck Incorporated LLC (Luckinc LLC), the company that operates Chance Infinite, which appears in these rankings. That is a conflict of interest, and we handle it in the open rather than pretending it away: Chance Infinite is graded with the same public rubric as every other listing, every deduction is itemized on the grade-rationale page, and nothing in its listing relies on a claim you cannot check against the sources it cites. Treat that listing as the publisher reviewing its own product, and read it with extra scrutiny.

SweepstakeReport is not affiliated with Publishers Clearing House or PCH Digital, 2Pens Media, GAMEE or its parents, Warner Bros. Discovery, AARP, Hearst, IKEA, QVC, Trusted Media Brands, People Inc., Hallmark Cards, Utz Quality Foods, The Coca-Cola Company, Hallmark Media, or any other operator we rank or review. Listings are not paid placements, and no operator, including our publisher, can buy a grade.
